Move/Rotate Object's pivot

How can I change the pivot place?

Bongo puts the pivot automatically to the center of the Rhino bounding box of an object. If you want to move the pivot to another position, you use the command: MoveObjectPivot

You will then be promt: Point to move pivot to ( Reset 3Points ):

Move the pivot to the location that you want it to be in. Osnap in Rhino is a good and helpful tool to have on, when you're moving the pivot around.

How can I change the pivot rotation?

Please note - In order for the pivot changes to take effect. Remember to make sure that the "Rotate in world space" option is unchecked in the Object Settings.

Next you'll be promt with: Select new x axis:. Select the direction for your x -axis.
and then Select new y axis:. Select the direction for your y -axis.
  2. You use the command: BongoOrientPivot
When promt: Axis ( X Y Z ):, choose the axis you want to be able to change.
Next you'll be promt with: New axis:, pick the new angle for your axis and the rest of the pivot axis will follow.
