Bongo puts the pivot automatically to the center of the Rhino bounding box of an object.

How can I change the pivot position?

If you want to move the pivot to another position, you use the command MoveObjectPivot.

You will then be prompted: Point to move pivot to ( Reset 3Points ):

Move the pivot to the location that you want it to be in. Osnap in Rhino is a good and helpful tool to have on, when you’re moving the pivot around.
